If it makes a difference (I don't think so), I'm also using the recent "Don't Starve" world seed on Master Mode (which I'm loving, btw!).Īnyway, thanks for making such a great game. ![]() Regarding my controller setup, I'm using a custom controller setup, however this bug exists while using the standard Xbox controller setup as well (I'm confident the issue is with how Terraria reacts to holding down a button, not the controller itself). From what I can tell, this issue is only regarding the ABXY buttons, but I'd check all of them, just in case. From what I can tell from my programming background, you just have to tell the system to stop registering the button_down on execution of a menu/guide/inventory (or whatever you folks call it on your end). Either way, I hope you folks can figure it out. I've held out thinking other folks might catch the bug, but I get the feeling I might be one of a few people that play Terraria on PC with a controller. This is very problematic when trying to access pylons (the map will flicker in and out until you let go of the button), using the Guide for crafting ideas (if you are able to, you'll automatically craft a random craftable item in your inventory, wasting resources), and most frustrating, I'll randomly wear an accessory in my inventory when accessing my inventory (there was one time I unequipped my wings!). Since the recent updates, my 3rd party X-Box controller, when playing Terraria, seems to think I'm holding any button down on auto-fire (my controller has no such option, by the way). Hiya, I'm an older Terraria player (and fledgling game developer/tester) and I prefer to play on my PC with a controller. ![]()
